Zia is the founder of First Law Solicitors. As well as managing the firm, he specialises in complex immigration, family, and private client cases.
With his wealth of experience, Zia’s clients know from the first meeting that he will provide high quality legal advice and do everything possible to achieve a successful result. His clients become like family, with many having used his services for various legal matters for over 15 years. Thanks to his experience, he swiftly sorts out difficult legal situations so his clients can move on to a positive future.
Zia is also a licensed Advocate in the senior courts of Pakistan.

Zia has recently assumed the role of President (Worldwide) for the term of 2023/2024 for the Association of International Lawyers (AIL).
During the 2022/2023 term, Zia held the position of Senior Vice President (Worldwide) at the Association of International Lawyers (AIL).

Zia actively participates in UK and Pakistani politics, having come from a politically-engaged family. He has been representing a famous Pakistani political party, holding the office of ‘President of the Legal Wing North-West of England UK) since July 2017.
Zia is also an active member of the local community. He is committed to helping and advising people on social and legal issues, often on a pro-bono basis, and this has led to many community awards.

Zia has resolved hundreds of complex immigration cases in which his clients had all but given up hope of achieving a positive result. He has also worked on high-profile Afghani asylum cases following the re-installation of the Taliban regime.
As a senior advocate in Pakistan, Zia has also advised on several constitutional and democratic upheavals that have taken place within the country. In addition, he has advised political and public figures, in both the UK and abroad, on legal and constitutional matters.
